- Version 2.3 has added the ability for the clock to become a parasite window
- on other screens. Some people (myself included) don't like this idea but I'm
- doing it anyway. If you don't like it, select WBScreen and the CloseScreen
- vector will never be changed.
- You can now use the function keys alone for a total of 30 hotkeys.
- Cycle windows to the back with the left then right mouse button combination.
- (Like DMouse).
- Print the date with \Y in a macro.
- MachII 2.3 now works correctly with Shanghai.
-
- There are no commandline arguments for version 2.2 and higher. All settings
- are available in the popup requester.
-
- Unfortunately the configuration file for version 2.2 and higher of MachII
- is incompatible with version 2.1. Fortunately though, I have included a
- program, named Convert, that will convert most (if not all) of your
- settings. The main purpose of this program is to preserve your macros but
- most options will also be preserved. Options that used to be on the
- commandline must be set in the MachII requester. This is trivial and need
- be done only once.
-
- To use Convert, simply type Convert at the CLI prompt. If your
- configuration file is s:mach.config, just click on the 'Convert'
- gadget. Otherwise, change the name(s) in the string gadgets.
-
- Version 2.2 and 2.3 are compatible and need no conversion.
-
- Sorry for any inconvienences. I hope that you will find the new MachII
- easier to use.
